This leather is similar in its technical characteristics to the Orvieto as it a corrected grain leather, as well as a pigmented and embossed leather, yet, what makes it quietly unique is its thickness: 3 mm. It is very thick leather, which emphasizes the volumes of the sofa and requires special skills in its preparation and use in the production. The normal stitching machines cannot use this type of leather and only very powerful machines must be used (we sourced these machines directly in Germany). Furthermore, the production of sofas with this leather can only be trusted to very skilled workers. When this leather is used for the production of a sofa, extreme care must be given to the details as a small imperfection in the cutting or the volume of the leather itself would emphasize stitching of the leather.
